Stathes joins Metrograph in early December with Frosty Fun, a selection of vintage animated shorts exploring wintertime hijinks. Come enjoy a famous cartoon cat exploring a frigid exotic land; a wily woodpecker wreaking havoc at a ski lodge; a live action little girl adopting a cartoon kitten from a frozen pond; a foolish farmer playing in the snow with his barnyard friends; a flat-broke frog panhandling in icy weather, and last but certainly not least, the film debut of a very famous snowman! Spanning the 1920s through to the ’50s, this assortment showcases classic characters such as Krazy Kat, Farmer Alfalfa, Felix the Cat, Flip the Frog, Julius the Cat, Woody Woodpecker, and others.
